Screening of Roy Disney and Leslie DeMeuse’s “Morning Light” to Benefit Tropic Cinema and Shake-A-Leg Miami during
Acura Key West Race Week
Theme of “Morning Light” and Mission of Shake-A-Leg Miami are aligned … both use sailing to empower kids.

KEY WEST, FL – January 7, 2009 – Roy Disney and Leslie DeMeuse, co-executive producers of the documentary, “Morning Light,” are making the film available for a special showing at the Tropic Cinema at 8:30 pm on January 21st during Acura Key West Race Week, presented by Nautica. The showing is a partnership between the Monroe County School District, Florida Keys Community College, Premiere Racing/Acura Key West Race Week, Tropic Cinema/Key West Film Society, and Shake-A-Leg Miami. Tickets are $10 each and can be purchased in advance through the Tropic Cinema: 305-433-4183 or online at www.keywestfilm.org. Proceeds from the screening will benefit the Tropic Cinema and Shake-A-Leg Miami. “Morning Light” will also been shown at Key West High School during the schoolday on Wednesday the 21st.

Shake-A-Leg Miami is a not-for-profit organization celebrating its 18th year of community service in partnership with the City of Miami. It runs a multi-acre campus based in Coconut Grove, Florida, serving more than 12,000 visitors each year.
